Benefits


Universal Credit is a payment for people over 18 but under State Pension age who are on a low income or out of work. It includes support for the cost of housing, children and childcare, and financial support for people with disabilities, carers and people too ill to work.

Benefits Sickness


Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is extra money to help you with everyday life if you've an illness, disability or mental health condition. You can get it on top of Employment and Support Allowance or other benefits. Your income, savings, and whether you're working or not don't affect your eligibility.

Council Housing waiting list


LRA will help when applying for council housing. You can apply for council housing through your local council.


You’ll usually have to join a waiting list and you’re not guaranteed to get a property.
